In May 22 - 27, 2015 - the 9th Klaudia Taev International Competition for Young Singers took place. 38 participants where chosen from 18 countries: Armenia, Belarus, Canada, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Russia, South-Korea, Sweden, Ukraine and Estonia. 
As a part of the Competition the opera production of Aida by G. Verdi was staged in Theatre Vanemuine for the winner of the 8th Klaudia Taev Competition, Lithuanian soprano Jomante Šležaite. Also the prizewinner of the 4th competition Anzhelina Shvachka participated in the production.
